Resumen


En un contexto económico donde se ha establecido la centralidad de los Recursos Humanos en la generación del valor en las organizaciones, el concepto de capital humano ha sido transformado en un sentido común en la administración de empresas. Sin embargo, desde su formulación como teoría y concepto dentro de los años cincuenta, las aplicaciones generadas en el mundo organizacional han tendido a la complejización del concepto sin desarrollar marcos teóricos que puedan abarcar las dinámicas de generación del valor dentro de la organización y su relación con la gestión de recursos humanos. La falta de un marco del capital humano en las organizaciones ha tenido un fuerte impacto en la imposibilidad de desarrollar sistemas de gestión y métricas acordes a los desafíos de las economías de servicio. En este articulo se re- conectan los sistemas basados en competencias con las problemáticas de la gestión del conocimiento y el capital intelectual, buscado establecer los puntos críticos para el desarrollo de sistemas integrados de Recursos Humanos.
